CANCELLATION POLICY

If the organization cancels the event within 48 hours of the scheduled event time, that organization will be charged 25% of the total dollar amount, UNLESS cancelled due to weather conditions. If that should happen, the organization must reschedule the date. If they do not, the fee will apply.

If the organization cancels the event within 7 calendar days of the scheduled event time, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total dollar amount will apply.

Cancellation fees also apply to partial cancellations. If a customer wishes to cancel five or more game rentals, any concession rental, or any inflatable rental, the organization will be charged 25% of the total dollar amount for those rentals if cancelled within 48 hours of the event. If cancelled within 7 calendar days, a 10% cancellation fee will apply.

CONCESSIONS POLICY

Price quotes for concession machines do not include supplies. Supplies for the sno kone machine (syrup), the cotton candy machine (floss sugar), and the popcorn machine (popcorn), must be purchased by the organization separately. Midland Fund Raising does offer these supplies for sale.

Ice for the sno kone machine must be purchased by the organization, and will typically require 15-20 bags of ice for 300 servings. Midland Fund Raising does not sell ice.

The organization must provide hot dogs and buns for the hot dog machine. Midland Fund Raising does not sell these supplies.

Midland Fund Raising does not supply tables for concessions. You must supply these.

The school prior to returning them to Midland Fund Raising must clean all concession machines. A fee of $25.00 will be charged for each machine that is not cleaned.

DATES POLICY

Midland Fund Raising operates on a first come, first serve basis.

Midland Fund Raising needs at least two weeks prior to the event date, to coordinate an event in Michigan, three weeks for events in Ohio or Indiana.

Your date is not booked until Midland Fund Raising receives a copy of the signed contract. Until this point your date is only "tentatively booked". If there is another organization that would like to book the same date, you have 5 business days to send us a signed contract. Otherwise, you will lose your date, and will have to schedule for another date.

You cannot reserve two dates for one event (i.e. reserving a back-up date in the event the first date is cancelled for whatever reason). If an event is cancelled, the organization can, at that time, contact Midland Fund Raising to reserve another date.

DELIVERY POLICY

A delivery fee will be assessed according to distance away from MFR offices.

  • 0-30 miles - $30
  • 31-75 miles - $75
  • 76-120 miles - $100
  • 121-200 miles - $150
  • 201+ miles - call for pricing

An additional delivery fee will be charged for any event that total rentals are under $500.00. This amount will be based on mileage, call for pricing.

ELECTRICAL POLICY/PREREQUISITES

Only one inflatable or concession machine can be plugged into one outlet at a time. Each outlet must be connected to its own breaker. This information can be obtained from a janitor. If the organization cannot meet the electrical prerequisites, a generator must be rented for $100.00 per day.

All Inflatables must be placed within 50 feet of an acceptable outlet. If no outlet is available, a generator must be rented.

INFLATABLE POLICY

Inflatables cannot be set up outside if winds are 25 m.p.h. or more; or if the temperature is below 60 degrees.

Inflatables cannot be setup in the rain, in the event that it rains after the inflatable is set up, please have a backup plan, so we can move them out of the rain.

If your gymnasium is on the second floor, please be sure you have the means to safely transport MFR equipment to the designated area.

Midland Fund Raising is not responsible for any damages to equipment while on organization property.

Inflatables cannot be taken up/down stairs.

All inflatables need at least 17 feet of height clearance, and 40 feet of floor clearance for inside events.

Inflatables placed outside must be within 50 feet of an acceptable outlet.

If no outlet is available, a generator must be rented.

The Midland Fund Raising Event Coordinator is present at your event to watch the inflatables and related equipment in case of a problem.

You will need to provide volunteers for each inflatable to take tickets or money and supervise the children.

PAYMENT POLICY

For outside rentals only:

50% of the total dollar amount will be required as a deposit once you have decided on your equipment and sign the contract. This deposit will be put toward your balance after the event is over. The rest of the amount will be invoiced to you and will be due 14 days prior to the event.

A $35.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

VOLUNTEER POLICY

You will need volunteers to supervise each game you rent, as well as take tickets or money. The MFR Supervisor is not responsible for taking tickets, money, or supervising children. The MFR Supervisor will instruct you on how to operate equipment.

Please be sure your volunteers are willing to help with setup and tear down. The inflatables are too heavy for one person to handle. If you are unable to supply able-bodied volunteers, MFR has workers available at $75.00 per day. If no volunteers are available, a setup/tear down fee will be assessed of $100.00.
